Music has been my lifelong passion. With over 40 years of playing, composing, and teaching, I’m a true musical multi-instrumentalist, skilled on trumpet, piano, guitar, and as a vocalist. A Grosse Pointe Woods local with a Ph.D. in Music Composition from Michigan State University, I’ve dedicated my life to sharing the joy of music with others.

Whether I’m strumming a guitar, crafting a melody, or guiding students to find their own musical voice, I believe music is a powerful tool for connection, expression, and storytelling. My classes aren’t just about learning notes and theory—they're about the joy of creating music and feeling its power together.
