Andrew breaks down the art of cartoon portraiture into simple, approachable steps that make sketching faces feel natural and fun.

You’ll begin with a short, engaging lesson on how to visualize the face in a simplified way, capture someone’s likeness with just a few key features, and make confident, quick artistic decisions. Then the real fun begins: a lively drawing session where everyone sketches everyone! With Andrew offering supportive guidance, participants will create as many caricatures as they can.

Every student will be drawn by Andrew—and will draw each of their classmates. You’ll leave with new artistic skills, a personalized caricature by Andrew, and a whole collection of drawings made during the workshop, all printed on cardstock and protected in plastic sleeves.
