In Strange Animal Art Camp, students will learn about strange and unique animals from around the world and then draw, paint, and sculpt them using non-toxic, kid friendly materials, step by step instructions, and a dash of imagination. Each day students will create 2 projects for the animal of the day using different materials. We will have snack t ime between projects so please provide your child with a beverage and nut free snack for each day.
Day 1: Capybara Painting on Canvus & Capybara Model Magic Sculpture
Day 2: Platypus Watercolor Painting & Platypus Model Magic Sculpture
Day 3: Armadillo Mixed Media Painting & Armadillo Model Magic Sculpture
Day 4: Walrus Watercolor Painting & Walrus Model Magic Sculpture
Day 5: Axolotl Canvas Painting & Axolotl Model Magic Sculpture
Angela Galea
Angela received her BFA from the College for Creative Studies in downtown Detroit majoring in Illustration. She is trained in most mediums with a love for painting, sculpture and drawing. Angela has been instructing students of all ages ranging from elementary to college level classes for over 14 years and has a passion for inspiring young minds using creativity.
