Foundations of Art is an engaging and interactive kids camp designed to ignite creativity and develop fundamental skills in painting and drawing. Through hands-on activities, fun exercises, and guided instruction, young artists will explore various techniques, including color mixing, shading, perspective, and composition. With a focus on building confidence and unleashing imagination, this camp provides a supportive environment for children to express themselves artistically while laying the groundwork for future artistic endeavors. Elizabeth Gauthier
Elizabeth Gauthier holds a BFA in Studio Art and has spent the last 20 years working as an artist and designer. A published author and illustrator, she loves to draw and paint small and large scale paintings and murals. She also designs and paints sets for the Grosse Pointe Theatre at various times during the season. Elizabeth teaches at many locations including the Grosse Pointe War Memorial, Oakland Community College, and College for Creative Studies in Detroit (CCS).
